In this August edition of the Foodwatch Newsletter I’m putting soup diets under the microscope. I’ll tell you what works and what doesn’t and how to take advantage of soup to lose weight in a sustainable way. Don’t be fooled by all the hype you read or see on TV. In addition to talking about soup, there’s the Foodwatch Product of the month, August EatKit and a host of new articles on the Foodwatch website. What are you waiting for?
Every few years the Soup Diet appears in one form or another. A few years ago it was the Cabbage Soup diet, then the Kickstart Soup Diet and currently there is a TV promotion of an all-in-one Kitchen Appliance that is coupled with a soup diet.
The big questions are do they work? If so why, and for how long? And how can you take advantage of any positives they may have while reducing the negatives? The August edition of the Foodwatch Newsletter gives you the answers.
We’ve added a lot of question and answers to the website recently as well as some articles to help you lower your cholesterol and keep "heart healthy".
Other topics in this issue of the Foodwatch Newsletter include our Product of the Month - Brunswick Canadian Sardines in spring water, and the August EatKit is all about legumes.
