Carbs provide our bodies with the energy we need to do the things we do every day as well as to run all the processes of our body. However, there’s now a whole industry and marketing effort happening around carbs, low-carb foods and no-carb diets. It’s hard to make sense of what’s a good idea and what’s just plain faddish.

What's wrong with carbs? Do we really need to go low-carb or no-carb?

In the March Foodwatch Newsletter I look at the whole carb debate and try to separate carb hype from carb facts for healthy eating. I tell you what's healthy and what's not; what 130g of carbs looks like in your everyday food intake; what smart carbs are and why the wrong carbs can make us fat and much, much more. You can find it all in this month's Foodwatch Newsletter.
