July 2017 Foodwatch Newsletter - Shark attack or food poisoning - which is more likely to kill you?
No video selected.

This is the question posed by the latest newsletter of the Food Safety Information Council.

Would you be surprised to know that an average of 86 people a year die from food poisoning? Compare this to only around TWO per year for shark attacks.

Healthy food is first and foremost safe food!

That's why we're tackling food safety in this month's Foodwatch Newlsetter.

Each year in Australia 2.1 million work days are lost because of food poisoning. That is quite a hit to the economy! Not to mention all the unneccessary suffering it causes. Take a look at our newsletter as well as the Food Safety Information Council's website  to check out what you can do to keep yourself and your loved ones safe from this curse.

As usual there's much more in our July Newsletter. You can find out about my new eBook - Navigating the Numbers - The Handy Foodwatch Guide to Food Additives and learn about my eCourse - Crack the Code too.

And while you can read it on the web, why not subscribe here and have it delivered to your Inbox on the last Tuesday of every month?
